Trivium + In Flames Just Announced One of 2027’s Heaviest Tours

Well, 2027 just got a whole lot heavier.

Trivium and In Flames have officially announced a massive UK and European run for spring 2027, and somehow the support lineup makes this thing even crazier: Paleface Swiss and VOLA are coming along for every date.

Four Bands. One Seriously Heavy Bill.

The tour kicks off March 29 at Dublin’s 3Arena before tearing through the UK and mainland Europe, with stops at Manchester’s Co-op Live, London’s Alexandra Palace, Paris’ Zénith, Amsterdam’s AFAS Live and Stockholm’s Avicii Arena. The run wraps May 7 in Katowice, Poland.

There’s a cool twist to the format, too. Trivium will top the bill in Ireland and the UK, In Flames take the headline spot across several Scandinavian dates, and the bands will co-headline through much of mainland Europe. And then you have Paleface Swiss bringing the absolute punishment, while VOLA adds their progressive, atmospheric side of heavy music.

Trivium summed it up pretty perfectly:

«“This is going to be one hell of a bill.”»

Hard to argue with that.

2027 Is Already Looking Heavy

The announcement also brings two generations of heavy music together. In Flames helped pioneer the Gothenburg melodic death metal sound, while Trivium became one of the defining metal bands to emerge during the 2000s. Add two very different modern acts in Paleface Swiss and VOLA, and you've got a lineup covering a pretty massive chunk of today's heavy scene.

General tickets go on sale Friday, August 28, with artist presales beginning August 26.

Four bands. One night.
