Turnstile just dropped NEVER ENOUGH: VERSIONS, a full reimagining of their Grammy-winning 2025 album NEVER ENOUGH. And instead of going the predictable deluxe-edition route, they invited one of the strangest and most stacked collections of collaborators we've seen this year.

This Isn't Your Typical Deluxe Album
NEVER ENOUGH: VERSIONS arrived today, August 28, with artists from completely different corners of music reworking the songs rather than simply adding a few bonus tracks. The full contributor list stretches to more than 20 artists, touching hardcore, death metal, indie, electronic, pop, jazz and beyond.
And some of these combinations are wild.
Elton John adds vocals and keys to “SEEIN' STARS,” while Hayley Williams, who appeared on the original version of that track, instead appears on the new version of “CEILING.” Then there's death-metal veterans Dying Fetus taking on “BIRDS,” the very song that won Turnstile the 2026 Grammy for Best Metal Performance.
Turnstile Keep Refusing to Stay in One Lane
That's what makes this release interesting beyond the ridiculous guest list. Turnstile came out of the Baltimore hardcore scene, but they've spent years stretching the boundaries around what a hardcore band is supposed to sound like. NEVER ENOUGH pushed that experimentation even further, and still managed to win the 2026 Grammy for Best Rock Album.
Now they're essentially handing those songs to musicians from completely different worlds and asking, what would YOU do with this?
