The Name Behind the Noise
Heroine Honey is a name that drips with contradiction, sweet but dangerous, soft with an edge. Heroine speaks to strength, survival, and messy, real-world heroism. Honey came from old Victorian Hong Kong ads where the word was used to discreetly advertise sex work, a layer of sweetness with an undercurrent of rebellion. Together, the name captures exactly what the band is: melodic and raw, beautiful and broken, tender and fierce. They’re not here to play it safe. They’re here to sting.

How It All Came Together
The first few Heroine Honey singles dropped before the lineup was even complete. When the band was invited to play a show at Vamp’d, they didn’t have a drummer. Enter Mariah Baldwin of Mojave Sun, who pointed them toward Dylan. One jam session later, the chemistry was undeniable. A couple of rehearsals in, and Heroine Honey was a full band hitting the stage. The rest is gloriously loud history.
Sound & Influence
Picture ‘90s alt-rock filtered through the lens of ’60s pop, then lit on fire. Heroine Honey blends cinematic grunge, powerful vocals, and emotionally charged lyrics into a sound that’s both nostalgic and fresh. Think Nirvana, Soundgarden, and STP colliding with a flair for melody and drama. Add in a touch of Queen, The Doors, and The Beatles, and you’ve got a band unafraid to mix the gritty with the grand.
The Music
Their debut track “Print in the Sky” was Muse-inspired, pop-leaning, and ultimately outgrown. But it paved the way for the signature songs that followed. Tracks like “Mary Mag,” “Metanoia,” and “Dive Doll” started turning heads, especially with their provocative visuals and layered songwriting. Each fan seems to latch onto a different track, proving there’s something here for anyone who’s ever felt too much, too loud, or too lost.
The songwriting process is a true collaboration. Chastity and Steven build the bones, Chastity pens the lyrics, and the rest of the band fleshes it out with grit, groove, and guts. They record with Corky at Pop Cycle Studios, their producer and behind-the-scenes wizard helping shape the HH sound into something undeniable.

Live Vibes
A Heroine Honey show is raw, sweaty, and full of movement, headbanging, hair-whipping, spinning chaos. They don’t waste time on filler or banter, they just play. One signature moment? The long, dramatic vocal hold in “Metanoia.” At their first show, Chastity hesitated, afraid it would come off too theatrical. She went for it anyway, and the crowd ate it up.
They’ve shared the stage with Filter, LA Guns, and Steel Panther, and they’ve headlined their hometown’s legendary Vamp’d. Those Desert Honeypot shows celebrating female-fronted rock bands? Unforgettable energy.
Looking Ahead
Their newest single “Diane” just dropped, and they’re already back in the studio working on their debut album, complete with a vinyl release in mind. Touring is tricky (money talks), but Heroine Honey is building everything they can with what they’ve got. The grind is real, but so is the passion.
In five years? They hope to be touring the U.S. and overseas, placing songs in film and TV, and most importantly, still writing, still screaming, still holding each other down.

A Few Extra Buzzes
Best Fan Moment: Someone covered one of their songs. 💜
Band Nerd Alert: They love dinosaurs, vampires, and post-show tequila shots.
Fun Fact: That tequila toast? It’s a full-band ritual that never goes smoothly… but it always happens.
Dream Collab: Rick Rubin or Butch Vig producing… and a duet with Chris Cornell or Jimmy Gnecco? Total dream.
